Walnut slats – natural character and modern form

Mexen wall slats in classic walnut color are products inspired by nature. Made of MDF slats covered with veneer that closely resembles walnut wood, they are characterized by increased resistance to mechanical damage. Delicate grains and natural colors bring warmth to the interior, while the black base of HDF board or felt emphasizes contrast and brings out the depth of the texture. The resulting arrangement is elegant and timeless.

Our decorative slats are available in two series: Lam-B and Lam-F. The first is a classic decorative version with a hard HDF base (4 mm), ideal for wall and ceiling arrangements. Lam-F, on the other hand, has a felt base with a thickness of 8 mm, which gives the panels sound-absorbing properties. Walnut felt slats absorb sounds, reduce echo, and improve acoustic comfort, which is especially important in open spaces or modern loft-style apartments.

Walnut slats are a simple way to introduce coziness into an interior without large amounts of work. Installation is quick and intuitive - the panels can be glued or screwed to the wall in any room and trimmed to size if necessary.
